Better Internet Conference 2019

Our Cyber Wellness Team was invited to participate in the inaugural Better Internet Conference 2019 on 11 March held at the Singapore Institute of Technology. The Conference kicked off this year’s Better Internet Campaign to promote safe and responsible online behaviours.

Our teachers, CCE ambassadors (Amanda, Renee and Yasmine) together with Cyberella, had the privilege of sharing our best practices on Cyber Wellness with the participants, distinguished guests and Minister for Communications and Information Mr S. Iswaran.

The Cyber Wellness Team in CHIJ (Katong) School will continue to play our part in the community to help raise public awareness and education for three broad areas of cyber safety and security, critical thinking and discernment of false online information, and cyberbullying.

The Cyber Wellness Team is honoured that our best practices have been featured on The Straits Times, Today Singapore and on the Facebook page of Minister for Communications and Information Mr S. Iswaran.
