All Catholic Girls attend Catechism classes (renamed as GRACE - God Reaching out to All Children Everyday programme) conducted by our Catholic teachers. The lessons are planned according to the Catholic Liturgical Calendar. Teachers in this programme are also trained to conduct these lessons in different levels.
The Chaplaincy Team uses Catholic education materials and references for our Catholic Girls to learn and understand their faith and live the gospel values in their daily lives. They also learn about the lives of saints and come together for mass lessons during the feast days. During the lessons, the students do their own reflection in a jotter book.
Apart from the lessons, our Chaplaincy Team conducts learning journeys to various churches and retreats for upper Primary students. Weekly Praise and Worship sessions, Rosary devotions, Month of the Rosary, and Stations of the Cross during Lent are conducted for the Catholic Girls to help them in their faith formation. They also attend termly School Masses and Family Masses. Feast Days like Epiphany and Easter, presentations are conducted for whole school. A Nativity Scene is set up at the Main Entrance of the school during Christmas season.
While our Catholic Girls attend GRACE lessons, our non-Catholic Girls attend LOVE- Living Our Virtues Everyday programme ethics lessons that are aligned with our school virtues. Teachers facilitate group discussions and sharing, while the Girls reflect on self and others and share their experiences with one another.
